Authentic Southside Taekwon-Do Club v. Taylor, 2026 ABKB 470

The Alberta Court of King’s Bench awarded the plaintiff societies $250,000 general damages against the defendants over comments posted on social media websites which were picked up by CTV, which ultimately ran a broadcast on their “Consumer Watch” segment of the evening news.  The broadcast was also published on the CTV Edmonton News website and a link to the broadcast was posted to the CTV National Facebook page.
